As many of you guys know O2 really messed up with their firmware update 8.22 for their O2 Wireless Box II , which stopped all users from using PPTP VPN which is widely used by the windows and less secure minded people đŸ˜‰ .
I found a good site which help me resolve the issue by downgrading the routerĂ¢â‚¬â„¢s firmware.
1) http://www.o2help.co.uk/router-upgrade-firmware/ <— this will downgrade the router to 7.4
2)http://www.o2help.co.uk/router-close-port-7547/ <—- this will stop O2 updating the routerĂ¢â‚¬â„¢s firmware ever again.
