As many of you guys know O2 really messed up with their firmware update 8.22 for their O2 Wireless Box II ,  which stopped all users from using PPTP VPN which is widely used by the windows and less secure minded people .

I found a good site which help me resolve the issue by downgrading the router’s firmware.

1) http://www.o2help.co.uk/router-upgrade-firmware/ <— this will downgrade the router to 7.4

2)http://www.o2help.co.uk/router-close-port-7547/ <—- this will stop O2 updating the router’s firmware ever again.

It was a fun day out, bigger event than I thought visited the computer museum and all other exhibitions at Bletchley Park.  retrocomputermuseum.co.uk had all the retro consoles where you can play it hands on it was fun.
