Tesco’s so call new self checkouts :D

Ok I went pass this Tesco metro where they had new self service system, since I like this type of things I thought 2 give it a try. bought 2
pain au chocolates and took it near it. it will ask you to scan it or find the item from it’s menu, I some how I manage to find it in their 29 pence, and then it’s ask to put inside the bag. that’s where the trouble started. I think it’s monitoring the weight of the bag to assume the items r inside the bag, as pain au chocolate is weightless. it didn’t tell the computer as it’s in the bag so it didn’t let me do any thing lol, I have to call some one to sort it out 4 me, even for her it wasn’t easy she took nearly 15 mins to scan 2 pain au chocolate :D

next time I’m only going to human checkouts :D

Well I used 30 days trail in the past, but never got around registering it. Finally done it. As WM5’s Internet explorer is beyond useable. with Opera I have option to turn off images, so that will save me bit of money on my bandwidth bills as I only read text sites on the road. It’s only £16.60 with VAT so not that bad. here is the link

Well, time for me to move to a better server, my current host just painful. They were cheap and good at the time(thats few years ago) . But now it’s just over subscribed. And changed all the php setting very restrictive :( .   I thinking to move this with a dedicated server I do my testing on. Most of the time its does noting. So I might make use of it.

May be a another blog software. But wp doing the job fine but a change will be good I guess,  may be not .  1st the server move and see how this works.
